On Friday, February 24th, Turkish and Afghan community members

The Homeless Drive, organized and held by RISE (Youth group of BAYCC), was an open community event that ran through the dates of May 19 to May 21. Throughout the course of this window, RISE was able to gather, sort, and package clothing, toiletry, and household supplies for the City Team. The event was a gradual success, with over six boxes of donation material collected and handed over by the end of the drive! We thank everyone who supported the drive by donating to the cause and encourage you to stay posted on similar events in the future.

and carried out a food sale after Friday prayer in Salam Masjid, Sacramento, to raise funds for the Mobile Health Clinic project in Afghanistan. This project is part of Embrace Relief’s global relief initiatives.
