The “Light over Darkness Festival” was held on December 2nd, 2023, at Sanatan Mandir in San Bruno, California. This interfaith event was organized by Sanatan Mandir in collaboration with several interfaith organizations and faith houses including BAYCC and Pacifica Institute, and is a testament to the power of partnership and community spirit transcending religious boundaries to celebrate each others’ festivals. The event served as a platform for interfaith dialogue and understanding, representatives from Hindu, Christian, Jewish, Muslim communities and other faith traditions shared their perspectives on the “light over darkness” concept, fostering a deeper appreciation for diverse spiritual paths.
